20. In reality though, our brains constantly change. Some changes are normal, but some are not. This information will

After 40 years of involvement in motorsport, Rob Rowe became concerned by the gradual deterioration in the accessibility of the sport to young drivers. He thought that one way of getting them involved was to build a car that was simple, affordable yet giving entertaining performance.

This is David Vizard’s hard cover 3rd edition of this seminal work and it is simply his best yet. Normally I have been able to pick up his other books and put them down again, having read a large part of the text. No so with this book, there is simply too much information and detail for that to occur.
This time David Vizard has not just written this by himself, instead he has drawn upon the knowledge of some of the best known current A Series engine tuners in the UK, and it shows. Do not think that the information contained within the book only applies to the A Series engines as it also applies to a wide range of other engines as well.

Whenever you are confronted by the shaped cast metal that is a cylinder head you want to ‘port’, you are also confronted by problems in tooling. What do you really use to get the results you want and what is it called?
For the new, non-professional porter, this is one of the first hurdles and one of the areas that it is easy to spend money on what looks good verses what will work well for you.
